QUICK UPDATE

I'm back in Santa Cruz and Andre's enjoying himself at L'Oase Racquetball and Hotel near Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. His interview at the U.S. Consulate in Santo Domingo is scheduled for 6 a.m. on March 25. On that day we should find out whether he gets the fiance visa or not. The only thing I'm worried about is my Affidavit of Support because I'm still carrying a loss on my tax returns. As far as proving our relationship, he has tons of photos and receipts from our travels together.

If all goes well, we'll meet in NYC on April 1, travel around to meet family and friends, then back to Santa Cruz on April 9. We have to marry within 90 days of his arrival in the U.S. or he has to go back.
